Chef Roger received a letter of commendation from our Canadian Ambassador! This is good news, since the Ambassador would definitely know great Canadian food. The letter says Chef's menu was "expertly chosen and impeccably delivered," and that several people commented that it was "the best meal they had experienced since coming to the Kingdom." Way to go, Chef!

Wednesday, March 6

Chef's time in Riyadh is drawing to a close soon. The Riyadh Marriott kitchen and banquet staff are giving him a great send-off, including cake! We are grateful for the warm reception Chef has received in Riyadh and for the friends he has made. Some of these friends are also new fans of our Facebook page! You are all welcome in Victoria any time!
